Dive Classes

Dive Outdoors is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center. Whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or working toward Divemaster, our instructors guide you every step of the way, and turn your curiosity into confidence.

Class season: our lake classes take a winter break and start again in May. Nitrox and Scuba Refresher classes run year-round. Call (530) 241-1571 to get on the list for spring.

    • Discover Scuba Diving: try scuba for the first time, no experience needed

    • Open Water Diver: your first full scuba certification. Ages 10 and up are welcome, subject to the child's height, swimming skills and the instructor's discretion. Divers ages 10 to 14 earn PADI Junior Open Water Diver: ages 10 to 11 dive to 40 feet with a PADI professional or a certified parent, ages 12 to 14 dive to 60 feet with a certified adult, and it upgrades to Open Water Diver at 15.
